Beethoven's Page   Papa fell in love with bullies years ago, when he rescued Beethoven from an animal shelter in 1993.  Papa was wary of Beethoven, at first, because Papa, like so many people, had been led to believe that bulldogs were ferocious and dangerous. In a very short time, Papa realized that Beethoven was a gentle giant who especially loved children.

But just as people, Beethoven began to get old.

One day, Beethoven began to get very sick.

Beethoven passed from Papa's loving arms into God's at 9:32 P.M. on June 2, 1998.  The thoughts of that last evening still can sometimes bring tears to Papa's eyes.
